Sounds Like San Diego: April 12

Father John Misty headlines a sold-out Humphreys Concerts by the Bay Wednesday

There are few contemporary artists that I love more than Father John Misty. His new record, "Pure Comedy," is an instant classic and speaks to our times in a way few others can. If you didn't get tickets to tonight's sold-out show at Humphreys Concerts by the Bay, fret not, as he's already got two more shows booked at the Observatory this fall, with tickets going on sale this Friday. In other "Localchella" shows happening tonight, the amazing Broods play Music Box (read the SoundDiego preview here) and Portland singer-songwriter Grace Mitchell plays Casbah. Around town, get your country on with Grand Ole Office at the Office Bar, former local Justin Froese plays a vinyl-release party at Belly Up, and indie-Americana band SUSTO plays Soda Bar.
