Brain Power

I always look forward to hosting the SoundDiego LIVE events, as it kick starts the weekend into full swing on a Thursday. This month, it’s happening at Seven Grand in North Park. Talk about a transformation! If you were ever at this venue when it was Bacchus House, you won’t even recognize it. I was blown away when I first walked in a few weeks ago. The staff there is super friendly and it’s a laid-back atmosphere that is extremely welcoming and inviting. The door man, Gavin, even opened the front door for me. Talk about classy! I am super stoked that this is the setting for the night I get to host. Playing this shindig are Oliver Trolley and the Hampton Beats. Plus, Garage 2 Glory winner the Hollerin will open the night. Get signed up for the last-minute guest list here. Afterwards, you may have time to see a few bands at the Casbah. The Burning of Rome will be shooting a live music video as they headline the lineup. Plus, the Palace Ballroom is also having their CD release party, so plenty in store for you.

Friday night, the legendary Bad Brains hit the Belly Up with the Creepy Creeps. You can also get your dance on with Eats Everything at Voyeur. Grab early-bird discounted tickets while they last here.

Saturday, join me at Club Ascension for a night of dark underground dance music. Atom and Ladynoir will join me in the DJ booth at the Kava Lounge for this fun evening. It’s your chance to win tickets to see A John Waters Christmas. Plus, Ana Chronism will be merchandising her Steampunk-inspired accessories. Grab more info here. At El Dorado, Boys & Girls present the French Express Tour featuring Jonas Rathsman, Perseus, Moon Boots, Chris Malinchak and resident DJ Adam Salter. More details via this link.

Keep up to date via my blog and I’ll see you on the dance floor!
