The gift of giving just keeps on giving. Proof: On Dec. 6, bringing an unwrapped toy to Westfield's Plaza Bonita mall gains you admission to Channel 93.3 FM's Frankie & Geena’s FREEcember Concert. Local tweens will go ga-ga for headliner Nick Jonas, who appears along with Inglewood's triple threat rap-stress, Becky G. Also on the bill is "X-Factor USA" singing sensation Bea Miller and Florida's rising rapper Jake Miller (no relation to Bea).
Back in June at Z90's Hot Shots concert, Becky G impressed the crowd (especially the parents) with her rock-solid live performance. She had the best breath control, transitioning from rap to falsetos while rocking choreographed moves with her all-male dance crew.
Start clearing your calendar, because this will be an exciting, feel-good benefit concert for the kiddies. The FREEcember concert takes place from 10 a.m. to noon on the mall's second level, in front of the AMC Theatres. The admission line begins at the mall entrance, between Red Robin and Crunch Fitness. So park on that side of the mall as the show is first come, first served. All unwrapped toys will be donated to the Boys & Girls Club of Greater San Diego. For more info, visit Frankie & Geena here.
