    FIVE FOR FIVE: Try five different wines for five bucks at Cardiff Wine Steals--now we understand the name. This week the wine is from the Clayhouse Winery in Paso Robles. From 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m., enjoy a mid-week break with some delish vino.

    COOL CAT: Considered one of the top performers of his genre, Jeffery Smith knows just how to woo a crowd. His soulful jazz music is a perfect way to unwind. He’s playing at the Sound Wave from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. Tickets are just $15.

    POETRY RUCKUS: It’s a free monthly spoken word presented by the Ruthless Hippies. A handful of local poets will perform their latest work at the Ducky Waddles Emporium.
