Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation and Max’s Ring of Fire will host the MROF Lemon Run 4.6 Mile Run/Walk and Family Fun Run this weekend.

The walk and run aims to raise funds and awareness for the battle against childhood cancer. Athletes of all levels are encouraged to run or walk the 4.6 mile distance in honor of the 46 children diagnosed with cancer each day.

Along with the run and walk, guest speakers and other musical entertainment will be a part of the event.

The run and walk fee is $35 per person and participation in the Family Fun Run is $20. The 4.6 mile run/walk will begin on Sunday, Sept. 25 at 8 a.m. at Lake Miramar. Check in begins at 7 a.m.
