Dozens of people -- they were more than just fans, truly goo-goo for Gaga -- showed up early Friday morning at the Star 94.1 studio.
The Gaga Army was dressed up in oufits inspired by their muse, hoping for their chance to win tickets from the AJ in the Morning show to Saturday’s concert at Sports Arena. Many spent hours on their outfits -- which ranged from wild to outrageous -- hoping to win.
“Lady Gaga is just a phenomenon right now, and she’s obviously known for her very unique fashion choices,” AJ said. “I don’t know if there is a bigger star in the world right now as far as the passion level of her fans.”
A panel of three judges was responsible for choosing a winner.
“They put a lot of effort into their outfits,” said Kevin Campbell, who appeared on last season’s Big Brother. “They put a lot of their own blood, sweat and tears into these outfits just to get these tickets.”
The outfits were certainly unique, and the contestants all seemed to agree that they were something that sums up Lady Gaga.
“She can wear something nobody else can,” Gloriani Gutierrez said. “It’s inspiring.”
