Put on your dancing shoes…it’s SALSA time!

This Sunday, August 2nd is the second annual Columbian/Peruvian Salsa dancing festival, held in honor of Independence of both Peru on July 18th, and Columbia on July 20th. The event will begin at 4 p.m. and you can dance the night away, or at least until the music stops at 1 p.m.

The festival will be held at the Ocean House restaurant in Carlsbad, which regularly hosts Sunday Salsa Nights. Performances by San Diego Dance companies will begin at 7 p.m. followed by free dance lessons at 8:30 p.m.

Cover charge is $15 for adults and $5 for 18 years and younger. Perfect for a family outing or a unique take on a first date, this will surely make for a memorable night filled with Latin music and dancing!
