    San Diego Restaurant Week -- South: We suggest tackling this year’s San Diego Restaurant Week by quadrant. Tonight, head south. The Waterfront Grill at Pier 32 offers salmon or steak for $20 while Nico’s Chop house is serving up some baked Mahi-Mahi for $30.

    Desserts for Dinner: Stone Brewery in Escondido has created a menu that is an exercise in pure decadence, and has paired each wickedly delicious dessert with an exceptional beer to bring out the best in both. $39 admission.

    Givin' to MOXIE: The San Diego Jazz Quintet, featuring Yuko Obinata and Antar Martin perform live to help raise money for MOXIE Theatre, a non-profit female owned theatrical company. $5 to $10 admission. 8 p.m.
