Scano Sinclair in his sleepy pose.

Scano Sinclair almost pulled off a home invasion, if not for the dozens of pics of himself left in the camera phone he dropped in the house.

Now the 28-year-old Broward man is wanted for armed burglary.

According to Broward Sheriff's detectives, Sinclair tried to rob a 25-year-old woman as she slept in her Tamarac home. He and another suspect snuck in the house through an unlocked door and pointed a gun in the unnamed woman's face, demanding cash.

He also tried to rob the victim's boyfriend, but dropped his camera phone while running away from the scene.

Police inspected the phone and found tons of pics of Sinclair posing for the camera and photos of his sleek silver Mercedes, the same car surveillance cameras caught fleeing the scene.

Blame it on Myspace and Facebook. Or just blame it on stupidity and vanity. Either way, Sinclair is going to have a hard time showing his face anywhere anytime soon.

Anyone with information about Sinclair’s whereabouts can contact BSO Robbery Detective Tony Hierrezuelo at 954-321-4270 or report it anonymously to Crime Stoppers of Broward County at 954-493-TIPS or online at www.browardcrimestoppers.org.
