A girl was hospitalized Thursday after being hit by a car near Boyle Avenue and Boyle Place in Escondido.
She was airlifted around 7:15 a.m. to Rady Children’s Hospital; her injuries still unknown.
Escondido PD said it was a not a hit and run attempt, and the driver did stay on the scene after the collision.
