Traffic Stalled for La Jolla Water Main Break

Police have closed La Jolla Scenic Drive at Soledad Mountain Road in La Jolla because a water main broke.
The line broke just before noon when a private contractor ruptured an 8-inch water main.
Traffic is being diverted while crews work to fix the area and the road could be closed for several hours, lasting until 9 or 10 p.m.
No flooding has been reported and residents still have water.
