80 mph Wind Warning Expired

The National Weather Service severe thunderstorm warning for parts of San Diego that ended at 1 p.m. Thursday.

Doppler radar indicated a severe thunderstorm capable of producing destructive winds in excess of 80 mph just before noon Thursday. The strong cell was expected to cross through Del Mar, Solana Beach and Mira Mesa, Encinitas, Rancho Bernardo and San Marcos.
