An out-of-control driver created a path of destruction in Bay Park, hitting several parked cars before flipping his truck.
Witnesses first reported hearing the sound of a large collision in the 2000 block of Morena Blvd. just before midnight.
When San Diego police officers arrived they found a man, in his late 20’s trapped in his truck.
The truck had flipped onto its side after crashing into five other parked vehicles.
Officers say the driver's arm was pinned underneath the door.
Emergency crews were able to get the driver out of his truck, load him onto a stretcher and get him to a nearby hospital.
He was the only person inside the truck at the time of the crash.

Now, he’s being evaluated for driving under the influence.
