A motorcyclist sustained life-threatening injuries early Wednesday morning after colliding into a guardrail, police said.
The motorcyclist was traveling along a curving ramp from westbound Montezuma Ave. in Kensington when he lost control and crashed into the road's guardrail, according to the San Diego Fire Department.
A police officer passing by noticed the motorcycle and damaged guardrail and called medics and assistance. The motorcyclist was pulled from beneath his bike in an unconscious state.
He was taken to the hospital and is suffering life-threatening injuries, police said.
