Marine Injured in Humvee Rollover

    San Diego military families got some good news on Thursday.

    The driver of a Humvee taking part in a training accident on Camp Pendleton was seriously injured in a rollover accident Thursday.

    The driver, said to be 20 or 21 years old, was injured when the vehicle rolled over in Area 43, located in the Las Pulgas area of the base in the northern part of Camp Pendleton.

    The accident happened around 7:30 p.m. The injured man had to be airlifted to Scripps after slipping in and out of consciousness.

    Three passengers in the Humvee were not injured, according to base officials.
