Deputies who responded to the report of a shooting at a San Marcos business discovered marijuana growing inside.

San Diego County sheriff’s deputies found two gunshot victims inside the woodworking business on Bosstick Boulevard around 8 p.m. Wednesday.

Both victims suffered non-life threatening injuries and were taken to Palomar Hospital deputies said.

While they were searching the business for evidence in the shootings, deputies discovered 20 marijuana plants, processed marijuana and growing equipment.
