A man was arrested after he ran a red light and collided broadside with a Jeep on State Route 76 early Sunday morning, killing the 61-year-old driver, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Raul Barajas Dominguez, 33, was taken to the hospital with moderate injuries. He will be booked into the Vista Detention Facility on suspicion of DUI once he is released.
The crash happened around 3:42 a.m. at the intersection of East Vista Way and SR-76.
This collision remains under investigation.
