In a nationwide search for “hot dads,” iVillage found the most attractive and most eligible dad right here in San Diego
Jon Graves was named the “Hottest Single Dad” Monday. The former MLB baseball player for the Dodgers is now a widower raising two sons Everen, 12, and Christian, 9.
He lost his wife to cancer four years ago and feels there’s nothing more rewarding than hearing his sons say that they’re happy.
”It’s been challenging of course but I have two amazing kids and we live a pretty fun life,” Graves told the hosts on The Today Show Monday.
He was one of 15 winners announced Monday including the “Hottest Tattooed Dad” and the “Hottest Fireman or Policeman Dad.”
James Tritle, of North Pole, Alaska, was named the winner of the overall Hottest Dad of 2011. He was awarded a week’s vacation in Sandals Emerald Bay in the Bahamas.
