Casey Anthony continues to bewilder San Diego residents. Is she in Carlsbad? No official sign. Could she be hiding out in a million-dollar Rancho Santa Fe mansion? Perhaps.
Rancho Santa Fe residents heard rumors that Anthony might be staying in a mansion near San Dieguito Park. A “Keep Out” sign is prominently displayed outside the house, but there is no sign of private security guarding the house.
Todd Macaluso, who defended Anthony in the early stages of the trial, reportedly owns the house. Anthony allegedly used his law firm’s private plane after leaving prison.
But there are no confirmed sightings of Anthony and residents are being quiet about the situation. Reporters were told to leave the premises.
Anthony has maintained a low profile since her release from a Florida jail last month and continues to hide because of the negativity surrounding her case.
