Rescued sea lion taken to SeaWorld.

An injured sea lion that was spotted in areas along San Diego Bay is getting the help he needs tonight.

Sea World crews have been trying to catch the big guy for two weeks. The sea lion has a wound from a fishing gaff that was lodged in his side.

Veterinarians feared his injury could lead to infection or worse, even death.

The Sea Lion was caught once before. The rescue teams netted him, but he got scared and slipped out.
    This time, they were successful.

The Sea Lion will recover at SeaWorld San Diego, where he will receive the medical attention he needs.
