A gun was fired inside a San Diego County Sheriff's station Monday, striking a deputy, officials said.
The deputy was shot in the leg by a federal agent by what was descibed as "an accidental discharge" by a spokesperson for the sheriff's department.
The shooting happened at the Lemon Grove substation when a federal agent was unloading a .22 gun seized in a search warrant.
The bullet hit the deputy in the lower leg.
He's expected to make a full recovery, officials said.
Officials said the names of the injured deputy and the federal agent won't be released.
