3 Victims Rushed to Hospital with Several Bee Stings

The incident happened at Crosby Street in El Cajon

Three people were taken to a local hospital Wednesday night after they were each stung multiple times by bees, officials said.

The incident happened at around 7:30 p.m. in the 1100-block of Crosby Street in El Cajon.

Cal Fire officials said some residents were harvesting bees and the activity somehow got out of hand. Numerous bees stung three neighbors badly enough that the victims had to be transported to local hospitals for treatment.

Cal Fire officials said a company was being called out to the scene to remove all bees in the area.
