Emergency crews had to rescue at least one person trapped in a car after an accident during Thursday's evening commute.
Four vehicles, including a semi-truck, crashed at 6:23 p.m. on southbound Interstate 805 near State Route 94 in San Diego, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A Sig Alert was in effect. Emergency vehicles appeared to be blocking one or two lanes on the left-hand side.
Aerial pictures showed firefighters pulling a person from a crumpled car. There was no word on the extent of injuries or what caused the accident.
