A pursuit ends in a crash at an intersection in Carlsbad Wednesday.

A chase that lasted three minutes left two people injured and at least three vehicles damaged, according to police.

Carlsbad police received calls Wednesday about four people inside a green Honda throwing objects at other cars near the intersection of Aviara Pkwy and Palomar Airport Rd.

An officer tried to pull over a vehicle matching the description on Interstate-5. The Honda got off on Carlsbad Village Dr. and led police on a three minute pursuit reaching speeds of 70 mph, police said.

The chase ended when the suspect vehicle collided with two other vehicles at Carlsbad Village Dr. and Monroe St.

At least one person was taken to Scripps Mercy Hospital via air ambulance. A second victim was taken to an area hospital.
