World Cup Fans Gather in Kearny Mesa

World Cup fans are having a field day as the  U.S. Women’s Soccer Team prepare to play Japan.

ESPN chose O’Brien’s Pub in Kearny Mesa as one of the places at 11:45 a.m. soccer fans can catch the big game.

Today's match is the final one between the USA, 22-0-3, and Japan.

Local women’s soccer team, the San Diego Sealions will make an appearance, including their head coach Jen Lalor Nielsen, a former U.S. Women’s National Team player and former member of the 1995 World Cup squad.

O’Brien’s will open today at 10:30 a.m. at 4646 Convoy Street in Kearny Mesa.
