One person was taken into custody after a North County pursuit, officials said.
San Diego County Sheriff's deputies (SDSO) first began pursuing the reported stolen car in the Pala area around 4:15 p.m. Wednesday.
When the car reached Interstate 15, California Highway Patrol officials took over.
Authorities used spike strips when the suspect came onto southbound I-15, and the car eventually pulled over near W Valley Parkway in Escondido.
One person was taken into custody.
