‘Dancing' Stars Evan Lysacek & Derek Hough Injured

"Dancing with the Stars" contender Evan Lysacek paid a visit to the doctor over the weekend after suffering a head injury while practicing for the ABC show.

"Hit my head in training today, just have a mild concussion. Ouch! Hope I can skate ok tonight," Evan Tweeted, referring to his time on the Smucker's Stars on Ice figure skating tour he is on concurrently with his "Dancing" stint."

"Just left the medical clinic. My doctor was amazing!!" he wrote following his visit to the facility.

Evan's partner, Anna Trebunskaya, Tweeted a picture of the skater getting checked out, but noted he is OK, despite hurting his head.

Evan "should be fine.Doctor told him he can skate and fly.Still its good we checked it out," she wrote.

On Monday, Evan's publicist also confirmed the skater was OK to hit the "Dancing" ballroom for competition.

Evan, however, wasn't the only "DWTS" injured last week. Professional Derek Hough, who dances with Nicole Scherzinger, Evan's main competition for the top of the leaderboard spot, was also hurt.

"From the swing dance , and I've bruised my sternum .. Ouch !! Hopefully it will be worth it," Derek Tweeted on Saturday.
