"The Voice" crowned Tessanne Chin its season five champion Tuesday night, capping a star-studded two-hour finale with a stunned reaction — and emotional performance — from its usually sunny-faced winning diva.

Tessanne's victory was announced after a parade of performances by divas from Celine Dion to Lady Gaga, plus a nostalgic look back at some of the other talents eliminated from "The Voice" stage earlier in the season.

The Jamaican powerhouse singer's win came as Jacquie Lee, at 16 the show's youngest contestant, finished as the runner-up and as Will Champlin finished in third.

As the finale came down to the wire, all three paid tribute to the efforts of their coaches — Jacquie to Christina Aguilera, with whom she'd shared a sisterly bond all season, and both Tessanne and Will to their coach Adam Levine.

The night kicked off with the top 20 contestants from the season performing Outasight's "Tonight Is the Night," before the top three brought back some of their old "Voice" friends for collaborations.

In one of night's most infectiously fun bring-back performances, Jacquie brought back her former teammate Matthew Schuler, plus Team Cee Lo's Caroline Pennell (whom Jacquie called "one of my best friends on this show"), Team Blake's Cole Vosbury and Team Adam's James Wolpert to sing the Queen classic "Bohemian Rhapsody" with her.

James' voice and Matthew's energy together conjured up Freddie Mercury's drama, and even Caroline's gentle voice lent a playful spirit. Her erstwhile coach, meanwhile, rocked out and lip-synced along from his red chair.

In other highlights Tuesday night, Jacquie teamed up with Paramore, Tessanne teamed up with Celine Dion, OneRepublic debuted their new single — and, oh yes, Christina unexpectedly joined Lady Gaga for a show-ending performance of "Do What U Want."

Gaga, decked out in a relatively tame gold lamé suit with dramatic shoulder pads, began the song solo, before Christina joined her, sans R. Kelly. As they finished, the platinum-headed pop stars — who had never met before Tuesday night — linked arms to sip from champagne flutes and smash them to the stage.

But it was back to business thereafter, and the business of the night was crowning a new "Voice" winner. Tessanne, after she was named the season five victor, tearfully but gamely managed to perform yet again, solo this time.

On Thursday, she'll appear on the "Today" show.
