Cops got quite an eyeful when they responded to a call of a disturbance at The Plaza Hotel early this morning: a drunken, and reportedly naked Charlie Sheen (inset top left) was discovered in a hotel room with porn star Capri Anderson (inset bottom right, photo via MySpace).
Charlie Sheen is back in Los Angeles after being hospitalized following his disastrous night at the Plaza Hotel -- and sources confirm that a woman found by cops in the hotel room with the actor was a 22-year-old porn actress.
The woman, who calls herself Capri Anderson, was allegedly found hiding in the bathroom as Sheen went on a rampage in the swanky hotel room.
Cops discovered a "disoriented" Charlie Sheen in his skivvies trashing the room, according to a law enforcement source. His scared ex-wife and his children were across the hall, the source said.
“I am scared for him," a desperate Denise Richards told responding officers, according to the source. "He told me he was using coke and he was acting crazy.”
The well-sourced law enforcement official offered the following account: Authorities used a passkey to get inside an 18th-floor room in the swanky hotel and found a Sheen trashing the place: smashing mirrors, furniture and even the television. When police arrived, Sheen -- disturbed, disoriented and seemingly intoxicated -- removed his underwear and completed his rampage in the buff.
Anderson, whose legal name is Christina Walsh, wouldn't emerge until Sheen was calmed and police handed her some clothing, the source said. She was not charged with any crime.
Eventually, authorities were able to pacify Sheen; he was first dressed in a robe and then officers helped dress him in proper clothing before he was taken away, the source said.
Sheen could have potentially faced disorderly conduct charges, and agreed to get into the ambulance and be taken to New York Hospital at about 2:30 a.m., the source said.
The enraged actor allegedly committed at least $20,000 worth of damage and is banned from The Plaza for life, the source said.
When asked about the incident, Sheen's publicist, Stan Rosenfield, said a bad reaction to some type of medication prompted his client's hospital visit.
"Charlie had an adverse allergic reaction to some medication and was taken to the hospital," Rosenfield said in a statement. He noted that the 45-year-old actor is expected to be released Wednesday.
Rosenfeld later in the day released another statement: "Charlie Sheen has been discharged from a hospital in NY and is returning to LA today. Everything else is speculation."
In her first appearance since the incident, in an exclusive sitdown with LX New York, Richards said she didn't want to discuss it.
"If Charley wants to discuss it, that's his choice... I don't want to get into it," Richard's told LX New York. "It's a private matter."
She said their children "have no idea" and that she "does her best to protect them from certain things."
Sheen is one week away from ending his probation on domestic abuse charges in Colorado and may have dodged a bullet by not being charged with a crime.
In an exclusive interview with NBC New York, Aspen Chief Deputy District Attorney Arnie Mordkin says, in general, this kind of incident “is not something that would cause me to start an investigation.” Mordkin would only speak in generalities and not specifically about Sheen.
Mordkin stressed that a parole violation would have to be proven before his office got involved. Also, he says, “Once probation is over, it’s over,” and Sheen’s ends on November 2nd.
By Tuesday afternoon, a massive crowd of hundreds of gawking tourists and snapping paparazzi had gathered outside of the Plaza to wait on Sheen.
The Golden Globe-winning actor, who's been plagued by drug addiction and domestic-violence accusations, was in the city with Richards and their two daughters purportedly to promote Richards' new series "Blue Mountain State."
Despite the highs of his longtime Hollywood career, Sheen's repute has been tainted by a series of drug problems and assault allegations over the years. Last year cops busted him in Colorado after his then-wife Brooke Mueller called 911 to report Sheen threatened to kill her and brandished a knife after she told him she wanted a divorce. Sheen pleaded guilty in August to misdemeanor third-degree assault. He dodged jail time in connection with that incident but was sentenced to 30 days in rehab, 30 days of probation and 36 hours of anger management.
In 1997, Sheen pleaded no contest to criminal charges after being accused by his ex-girlfriend Brittany Ashland of domestic abuse. Ashland alleged that Sheen grabbed her hair and threw her face-first into the marble kitchen floor, splitting her lip and causing her to need seven stitches.
