A few years ago, I was excited to see a small private show with Ray LaMontagne, but he canceled due to illness, so my next opportunity to see him was at Harrah's Rincon Casino. I was reluctant because his voice and music feel made for small, intimate venues, but I was incredibly happy that his show translated to a large stage and felt right under the stars. Continuing with that theme, I think that Copley Symphony Hall will be a beautiful place to hear LaMontagne and the Pariah Dogs -- and with openers Brandi Carlisle and Vusi Mahlasela, this should prove to be a beautiful night of heartfelt music.
