There are some legendary bands who've come out of San Diego and there's this sort of hazy fondness for the early '90s and the scene of that era. When bands from that era perform, reunite or even record new albums, there's a fervor and a reignition of interest in what San Diego has to offer. Monday is a chance to see local legends Three Mile Pilot at the Griffin. The band has performed just a handful of times in the past couple years and tend to do two or three nights in a row, so I'd suggest buying tickets in advance or you might walk up to a sold-out venue. Vampires open the night and round out a solid Monday night bill.

Monday, Nov. 26:

  • Three Mile Pilot, Vampires @ The Griffin
  • Anti-Monday League presents Sundrop Electric, Sir Sly, the Llamadors @ Casbah
  • Satellite Run, Mexican Hexagon, Arrive Alive, Hot Mustard @ Soda Bar
  • Main Frame, Mystery Cave with Ryan Haynes, Rebar and Plums @ Eleven
  • The Tin Can Country Club featuring Jon Kruger @ Tin Can
  • Soul Jazz Jam with the Fire Eaters @ Bar Pink
  • Live at the Belly Up with the B-Side Players, the Devastators, Maren Parusel, DJ Bobby Soul @ Belly Up
  • Sean Davenport @ Seven Grand
  • Dirty Mondays with DJ Gabe Vega @ The Saloon (Encinitas)
  • Open Mic @ Lestat's
  • Dave Scott & Monsoon Jazz @ Croce's
  • Aaron Durr Band @ Jimmy Love's
  • Electric Waste Band @ Winston's
  • Kensington Trio @ Athenaeum Music & Arts Library (12 p.m.)
  • Karaoke @ Til-Two Club
  • Dub Dynamite @ The Office
  • Jazz Jam with Deejah & Walter @ Patrick's Gaslamp Pub
  • Karaoke @ Coyote Bar & Grill
  • Doug Allen @ The Kraken
