There are some legendary bands who've come out of San Diego and there's this sort of hazy fondness for the early '90s and the scene of that era. When bands from that era perform, reunite or even record new albums, there's a fervor and a reignition of interest in what San Diego has to offer. Monday is a chance to see local legends Three Mile Pilot at the Griffin. The band has performed just a handful of times in the past couple years and tend to do two or three nights in a row, so I'd suggest buying tickets in advance or you might walk up to a sold-out venue. Vampires open the night and round out a solid Monday night bill.
