There's a swell of great bands touring through San Diego as the annual call to Mecca begins to stir. Of course, I'm talking about South By Southwest, and you're certain to see an influx of touring acts over the next few weeks as bands work San Diego into their SxSW tour routing. Add this to bands just on regular tours and you see a robust Wednesday like this evening. Walk off the Earth are worthy of all their buzz, and you can catch them at the House of Blues. You can also expect a great turnout at the Griffin for Painted Palms. Eighties icon Gary Numan performs at Belly Up with the incredible Big Black Delta, and Papa headline the Casbah after lots of touring supporting bands like Cold War Kids, the Head and the Heart, and Temper Trap. Lots of choices, and, in this case, they're all winners.
