Tim Barry takes on the Casbah Friday.

I know, I know. The show that everyone is probably talking about tonight is Blink-182 at SOMA. The show sold out rather quickly, with all the weird internet drama that played out between members and Matt Skiba taking the place of Tom Delonge. But honestly, there are plenty of other reasons to get out tonight, whether you want to take in the Banker's Hill Beer Festival at the Abbey or some art and DJs at the Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego for their Spring Thing. But of course, we're all about music around here, so tonight you've got DJ Quik and Warren G at the Observatory North Park, fun times with Moon Hooch at Soda Bar, or my choice for the night, Tim Barry at the Casbah, who is joined by the amazing talents of Jenny Owens Young and Cory Branan to make it a full night of hearfelt music with a rough and tumble edge.
