Sounds Like San Diego: June 3

I don't know how your week is going, but for this music blogger, it's nuts. I recently accepted a job as the in-house publicist for the North Park Theatre, and Tuesday is our first concert! Rodriguez is performing, and after the huge success of the documentary Searching for Sugarman, the show sold out in about a week. Since this is a new experience for most, I'll tell you that doors open at 8 p.m., with Rusty Maples performing 15 minutes later and Rodriguez taking the stage an hour after that. I think everyone's going to love what we've done to the theatre and am really looking forward to showing it off. Meanwhile, San Diego has other great shows that aren't sold out ... like Camper Van Beethoven at the Casbah, Kelis at the House of Blues and the Allah-Las at the Belly Up, meaning Tuesday is going to rock no matter which show you pick.
