It's Warped Tour Wednesday in San Diego, which means that -- while you're working away a beautiful day in an office -- 15,000 kids are getting their punk, rock, screamo and emo on in a parking lot in Chula Vista. The Vans Warped Tour has been going strong since 1994, so you might be a little older and wonder who the current bands are, but the kids in town are ready to make their pilgrimage to see old favorites and find some new ones. The always-eclectic lineup can't keep the kids in their Chucks from rocking out and having a great time. It promises to be a gorgeous day, so if you ever found yourself sporting a mohawk or grabbing a skateboard in your younger days, this will bring you back to what it was like before you had grown-up responsibilities. It is one of my favorite festivals, if just for the people-watching, and I always end up finding a new band or an old one that bring out the memories of the teenage rebel I once thought myself to be. Crowd-surfing is optional.
