Tonight, let's welcome Zonies Kinch to the Soda Bar. Performing every Monday in January, the band is also doing residencies in other cities, including hot spots like the Silverlake Lounge. They'll be playing with one of my local-faves-that-doesn't-play-enough, the Midwinters. They'll also be joined by the Goomies. There are a couple other interesting shows tonight, too, at off-the-beaten-path destinations like Che Cafe, Kava Lounge and Tin Can. Or, kick off your new year with some good old blues with Tomcat Courtney over at La Gran Tapa. Make your resolution to support music and try something new every once in a while.
