Music has certainly changed over the decades, but so have the venues. Over the Casbah's 24 years, the walls have certainly seen trends change. On Saturday when the Cadillac Tramps perform, you'll certainly feel a bit nostalgic as the band returns with its distinct rock & roll sound that precedes Manic Hispanic, Social Distortion and other later projects of its members. Joined by the Creepy Creeps and the Widows, this will be a tall can and whiskey kind of night. If you were too young when the Tramps were regulars at the Casbah, you might feel more at home at Soda Bar, where the Atom Age are supported by Grand Tarantula, Bloody Mary Bastards and Subsurfer for a solid lineup of edge.
