The Western Set open for tonight's sold out Convoy show at the Casbah.

While I'll be up in Anaheim checking out NAMM, it hurts me to see how many great local shows I'll be missing. Tonight's sold-out Convoy show is certain to please lovers of San Diego's music scene of yesteryear, while Sleep Lady and friends make ears bleed over at the Soda Bar. Eleven has great whiskey-drinking music, while locals like Alyssa Jacey take over the House of Blues. While I focus on "local music," I'd prefer to just say that you should just focus on the "music" part, because tonight's "local" shows rival any touring or national acts. Go out and get it, because it's all right in front of you and ready for you to soak it all in.
