It looks like there are plenty of great options to keep your interest this Friday. Big Sandy & His Flyrite Boys bring the swing back to the Casbah for more of the venue's 24th anniversary month while our own Robin Roth has put together a psychedelic dance party for your hips over at the Whistle Stop and Primitive Noyes are back with a CD release party at Eleven. But this Friday my bets are on Soda Bar. Between the frenetic stylings of Boy King and the star power of Charlene Yi (whose musical career precedes her acting career), you already have a killer lineup, but it's especially rounded out with Mothlight and the return of my friend Casey Trela and his band Hi Ho Silver Oh, making this the winner of the night for me.
