Sounds Like San Diego: Dec. 30

The Academy Is... calling you to come out to the Observatory Wednesday

Thursday is New Year's Eve, so you better believe the city is going to be swarming no matter where you go, but that also means that traditionally the night before (Wednesday, in this case) is pretty quiet. Oh sure, Donavon Frankenreiter will likely sell out his second night at the Belly Up, and Hot Chip is nearly sold out at the Casbah, but the weekend warriors (so to speak) and rookies won't quite be out in full force, so you should be able to really enjoy yourself as you watch the Academy Is... at the Observatory or Tijuana Panthers at Soda Bar. Of course, if you're looking for an insane party, catch the second night of LED's OMFG! at Valley View Casino Center.
