Sounds Like San Diego: December 14

The For The Sender project returns for a special holiday show featuring an impressive cast

It has been a great weekend for music around town and tonight the great options continue. At the Belly Up, the very special For The Sender project continues with a holiday show. Started by Alex Woodard, this is a beautiful night of acoustic singers, including Nena Anderson, and Sean and Sara Watkins of Nickel Creek fame. Meanwhile, Casbah goes electronic as College performs, with San Diego's own Nicky Venus opening up the show. Howie Day is a good call at House of Blues, just don't expect to get a straight version of "Collide," as he tends to talk through it or make up joking lyrics for it.
