The forecast for the Polar Bear Plunge exhibit at the San Diego Zoo today is for snow.
Zoo staff will truck in 24 tons of snow for the three Arctic residents can dig, slide and play in the white stuff.
Zoo spokeswoman Dani Dodge Medlin says the special frozen treat is part of a weekend of events focusing on the zoo's six bear species.
