It's Getting Rough at the MOXIE

Theatre offering up look inside bloodiest political fight in U.S. History

Watch your step at the MOXIE. It’s a little dirty inside.

Volunteers hauled drums of dirt up the stairs for a special production at the non-profit theatre.

MOXIE opens the West Coast premiere of “Bleeding Kansas” by Kathryn Walat October 18 at the Diversionary Theatre.

The show focuses on the bloody political fight over whether Kansas would become a free or slave state.

Curtains open at 8 p.m. Saturday with a pre-show reception starting at 7:30.

After the show, you can attend a special discussion with director Delicia Turner Sonnenberg who will be traveling from New York for opening night.

The production runs through Sunday, November 2 at Diversionary Theatre, 4545 Park Boulevard in University Heights, San Diego.
