Local favorites -- Local Natives -- always seem to show San Diego some love with their frequent concerts in town.
2/18
As expected, area music fans came out in droves.
3/18
Neon Trees were one of the night's big headliners.
4/18
Hailing from Provo, Utah, the band's debut single, "Animal," hit No. 13 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 2010.
5/18
The group currently consists of vocalist Tyler Glenn, guitarist Chris Allen, bassist Branden Campbell and drummer Elaine Bradley.
6/18
Fun fact: Bradley filled in as the drummer for the 8G Band for a week on "Late Night with Seth Meyers."
7/18
The band released their latest studio album, "Pop Psychology," in 2014. But just last month, they issued a new single titled "Used to Like" with a new album slated to drop in 2020.

Attendees also caught some skilled high-flyers catching some air.

Local Natives hail from right up the road in Silver Lake, California -- and are comprised of Kelcey Ayer (pictured), Taylor Rice, Ryan Hahn, Matt Frazier and Nik Ewing.
10/18
The group released their fourth full-length, "Violet Street," in April of this year. (Rice pictured)

Fun fact: Ewing (pictured here) cut his chops playing in San Diego bands like the Howls! He's also the mind behind Chewing, a solo project with which he's released a debut album earlier this year -- "Pacific Ocean Blue."

Fans patiently waiting...

Of course, all your favorite ALT 949 radio deejays were on-hand to introduce the show's festivities.

Shaed (pronounced "Shade"), an indie-pop act from Washington, D.C., had us in good spirits early on.
15/18
The group consists of Max (pictured) and Spencer Ernst, and lead vocalist Chelsea Lee.
16/18
The trio has released four EPs to-date: "World So Bright" (2012), "Send the Night" (2013), "Just Wanna See" (2016) and "Melt" (2018).
17/18
They've also just released two new singles, "Thunder" and "2 in a Million" (a collaboration with Steve Aoki and Sting).

Thanks, ALT 949, for once again getting us into the Not So Silent holiday spirit!
