San Diegans are a proud group. Spurned by the Chargers owner Dean Spanos, many said when the Chargers left, they wouldn't care... or watch.
But here we are. Three years after the team moved to Carson. San Diego is a top market for viewing a prime-time NBC Sunday Night Football game.
The San Diego market was second only to Pittsburgh in viewers of the Steelers vs Chargers game. Incidentally, the Steelers were also first in fans at the Chargers adopted stadium in Carson, and first on the scoreboard. The Steelers beat the Chargers 24-17.
