The University of San Diego is the first and only Pioneer Football League team to win an FCS Playoff game. Now they want to be the first team to win multiple games and make a playoff run.
USD’s reward for completing a 4th straight undefeated PFL season is a 1st round road game against Northern Iowa, a team many football fans are familiar with because it’s the alma mater of Pro Football Hall of Famer Kurt Warner. The Panthers are 8-4 and get to host a playoff game as an at-large team out of the Missouri Valley Conference.
