Billy White scored 21 points and Kyle Spain added 19 to lead San Diego State to a 92-63 exhibition win last night Point Loma Nazarene.
White also had a game-high eight rebounds and Spain was four-for-five from three-point range against their crosstown NAIA opponent.
Point Loma held one lead in the game at 3-2 but kept it close through most of the first half. San Diego State led 24-23 before it outscored the Sea Lions 27-6 over the final 7:53 to take a 51-29 halftime lead.
The Aztecs shot 58.8 percent from the floor in the first half and scored 23 points off 11 turnovers. San Diego State went seven-for-11 on three-pointers.
D.J. Gay had 15 points, and Richie Williams added 14 for San Diego State.
Curtis Carlson led the Sea Lions with a game-high 26 points, hitting 11 of 16 shots.
