It's been two years since the Lakers were here last, but Laker's fans can watch them Tuesday night.
Tuesday night's tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. at the San Diego Sports Arena. In the first of two consecutive preseason matchups, the Lakers take on the Charlotte Bobcats. The teams will meet again Oct. 23 in Anaheim.
Last season, the Lakers were forced to cancel their preseason game in San Diego due to the wildfires. That halted their streak of eight consecutive appearances in San Diego between 1999 and 2006.
The last time the Lakers and Bobcats met was during last year's pre-season STAPLES Center Shootout. The Lakers defeated Charlotte 113-97.
