The Chargers made a few personnel moves this week. Thankfully, none of them involved LaDainian Tomlinson, who looks to have patched things up with General Manager A.J. Smith and hopefully will spend the rest of his Hall of Fame career in San Diego. But, I digress.
The Bolts signed 8 players. Linebacker (and USD alum) Eric Bakhtiari, guard (and SDSU alum) Brandyn Dombrowski, wide reciever Gary Banks, running back Eldra Buckley, defensive end Andre Coleman, defensive tackle Ogemdi Nwagbuo, and defensive backs Grant Mason and DeJuan Tribble signed on for 2009. All of them were with the team last season, mostly seeing time on the practice squad.
