Both basketball programs at San Diego State saved their best for last against UNLV.
On senior night for the men, it was Kyle Spain hitting back to back three pointers to highlight a 15-3 run in the second half for the Aztecs. Spain had 16 points in State's 57-46 victory, as they finished fourth in the Mountain West Conference. They'll now have to face the Rebels again on Thursday in the MWC tournament in Las Vegas.
Meanwhile, The Aztecs women earned a share of the Mountain West Conference title beating UNLV 61-55 in Las Vegas. San Diego State and Utah tied for that conference championship with a 13-3 record. They'll also play the conference tournament there next weekend.
